Falcon Packet Optimization
Falcon is designed to solve the most important problem that's been keeping WLAN technologies from being widely adopted for home video networking packet loss in wireless transmission. Falcon is a software application which serves as an intelligent agent operating in the access point, and manages packet delivery over a wireless link to ensure delivery of each packet.

- Prioritizes packets based on their relative importance, distance between Audio, I-Frames, P-Frames and B-Frames
- Proactively controls the media server on behalf of the video client by optimizing source content delivery based on real time performance of wireless link
- Intelligently supports “trick play” modes such as fast forward, skip, and rewind, depending on the wireless link capacity
