Jacob Suen

President and Chief Executive Officer

Jacob Suen, President and Chief Executive Officer, served as Airgain’s President since January 2019, and previously served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales. He brings over 20 years of domestic and international business development and management experience to Airgain and is responsible for strategic direction at the company. Previously, Mr. Suen served numerous management positions as Director of Business Development, OEM/ODM Manager, and Regional Network Consultant for Paradyne Corporation, formerly a part of AT&T and a supplier of network equipment worldwide. While at Paradyne, Mr. Suen was responsible for reducing overall cost and improved time to market in various product lines through the ODM/OEM initiative and successfully established its very first subsidiary in China. Mr. Suen has also held various product development and engineering positions at GVN Technologies and Motorola. Mr. Suen received his M.B.A. from the University of Colorado, Masters of Electrical Engineering and Management from the University of South Florida, and B.S. in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

David Lyle

Chief Financial Officer

David Lyle joins Airgain with twelve years of public company CFO experience and over two decades of experience in the technology industry, much of which was spent in wireless technology markets. Mr. Lyle has a proven track record in successfully scaling high growth technology companies, having served in leadership roles in both public and private companies. Before joining Airgain, Mr. Lyle was the CFO of Sunniva, Inc., and prior to Sunniva, he was CFO at Maxwell Technologies, Inc. for four years, which was acquired by Tesla in 2019. He also served as the CFO of Entropic Communications, Inc., which was acquired in 2015 by MaxLinear. Prior to Entropic, he served as the CFO of RF Magic, acquired by Entropic in 2007, Zyray Wireless, acquired by Broadcom in 2004, and Mobilian, acquired by Intel in 2003. Mr. Lyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Southern California, a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.

Kevin Thill

Senior Vice President of Engineering

Kevin Thill has over 30 years of antenna design experience. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. Upon graduation, he took a position as an Antenna Engineer at McDonald Douglass, where he worked on the C-17 transport antenna system. From there, Mr. Thill went on to Northrop, where he worked as an Antenna Engineer and assisted in the development of antenna systems for the B-2 bomber and F-15 fighter plane. After leaving Northrop, Mr. Thill worked as a Senior Antenna Design Engineer at Motorola, where he was the lead design engineer for the Iridium handset antenna. He independently developed the first low-profile antenna for the two-way communications industry and then founded Antenna Plus, LLC in 1991. Mr. Thill served as owner, sole designer, marketing, sales and more, slowly growing the company into a multi-million dollar a year business until it was bought by Airgain in 2017. He is the holder of 12 patents and counting, and currently serves as Airgain’s Vice President of Engineering.

John Pan

General Manager, Asia

John Pan serves as Airgain’s General Manager, Asia, is responsible for Asia sales, marketing and team management. He brings over 18 years of Information Technology (IT) and sales experience. Prior to joining Airgain, Mr. Pan worked for global leader, Xerox, as a System Analyst, helping to optimize and develop customer business and networking. He also gained experience at Maipu, a telecom solution company in Chengdu, where he was promoted from Engineer to Region Technology Manager, and finally became the Telecom Industry Technology Manager, in which he directed the company’s telecom industry planning and execution efforts. He brings comprehensive design and engineering experience to Airgain, particularly when it comes to Chinese telecom network technology. Mr. Pan holds a B.S. in Computer Communication Engineering from Chengdu University of Technology, and an M.B.A from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

Bill Swafford

Vice President of Business Development

Bill Swafford brings over 20 years of management experience in sales, business development, and product line management, having led sales and business development for global companies primarily involved with antenna systems and RF front end solutions. As Airgain’s Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Swafford is focused on leveraging the company’s unique value add to expand the North American customer base, with a strategic focus on new market growth initiatives. Prior to his career in sales, Mr. Swafford was an RF Engineer for 10 years, developing cellular infrastructure equipment and defense electronics. Mr. Swafford holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.

Morad Sbahi

Vice President of Corporate Strategy

Morad Sbahi is responsible for the development and implementation of Airgain’s corporate strategy. By operating across all segments of the company, Mr. Sbahi’s role is to help Airgain expand into new markets and product categories worldwide. Prior to taking on this role, Mr. Sbahi was Airgain’s General Manager, EMEA, where he worked to increase the company’s growth by tenfold in his geography. Before joining Airgain, he served as General Manager, EMEA for SMC Networks, Inc., a provider of customer premise equipment for service providers, where he led the development of SMC’s European business and directed the company’s planning and execution efforts across the market. Mr. Sbahi brings over 20 years of international executive management experience in the semiconductor and telecommunications industries to Airgain. A recognized industry leader, he has held executive management positions with such companies as Broadcom, Texas Instruments, Applied Micro Circuits, and Ubee Interactive. Mr. Sbahi holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from the Warwick Business School.

Callum Noon

Vice President of Product Management

Callum Noon has over 20 years of leadership experience in multiple aspects of the international wireless industry and has lead teams dedicated to optimizing RF systems and connectivity solutions. As Vice President of Product Management for Airgain, he leads the global product strategy and marketing teams. Prior to joining Airgain, Mr. Noon served as VP of Product Management for Aviat Networks and also The Antenna Company. With a depth of understanding in networking technologies, international markets, and product engineering, he has driven product and marketing initiatives as well as business development in some of the most challenging regions of the world. Mr. Noon holds a NCZE in Electronics and Computer Science, a diploma in Business Computing from Massey University in New Zealand, and studied for his Masters of Business Administration at La Trobe University in Australia.
