Sales Account Manager – Denver, CO

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for obtaining profitable results by growing business opportunities within existing service provider accounts and meeting the sales objectives for North America.


Essential Job Functions

  • Operate as the main point of contact for assigned customers
  • Develop and maintain long term relationships with key accounts
  • Communicate customer project needs internally including to global design teams
  • Present value of company and key differentiators to customers and strategic partners to expand current base
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing accounts
  • Conduct sales forecasting / opportunity tracking
  • Represent company at regional and national trade shows/conferences
  • Develop and implement Strategic Account Plans
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Work closely with executive leadership on strategic objectives and annual revenue targets
  • Other duties as required


Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements

  • Education level: Bachelor Degree. Technical and Master degrees are a plus
  • Experience level: 5-8 years of experience in sales with an emphasis in wireless, RF products
  • Established relationships with Tier 1 MSOs, Telcos, MNOs and associated chipset and hardware vendors
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with partners and new customers
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets and grow business year over year
  • Business development and solution selling experience
  • Ability to write clearly and informatively
  • Ability to vary writing style as needed to target a variety of different audience members
  • Ability to presents numerical data effectively
  • Ability to support and explain reasoning for decisions
  • Ability to travel over 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally, as needed. Must have the ability to obtain and hold a valid passport.


Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands

  • Must be able to work in a seated or standing position, for periods up to 8.0 hours per day and potentially exceeding 8.0 hours per day where required
  • Must be able to stand and/or sit while traveling extensively, via automobile, bus, train, airplane, or boat
  • Extensive use of a mouse and keyboard
  • Extended viewing of a computer screen
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, twisting, and standing
